Invite bird (parrot) artists to become member, request their art in the group, write a blog with features, affiliate with larger bird groups, and once the group gets bigger: start contests.. Hmm those are just a few ideas to gain more watchers/members.
Also, you could explicate more clearly that you also accept non-parrot birds (as most of my drawings are

aaa this group means alot to mean, birds have always held meaning in my life and it feels nice to see people who feel just about the same

i grew up with birds when i was younger so i grew to be really attached to them and my uncle and me raised a baby mockingbird that feel from its nest a few years back so we have its family that lives in the same nest in the tree in front of us
but im a birdkin (northen cardinal) because ive always felt spiritually with them
(i dont mean to give my whole life story i just enjoy finally having somewhere where people can relate~)
